The Green ThistleNurse-led consultancy, Inverness Get in touch

Talks, panels and podcasts.

I've spoken on stages from Edinburgh to London and in front of a fair few cameras. If you need someone who can explain cannabis-based medicines to a room of clinicians, patients or investors without either dumbing it down or drowning it in jargon, I'd be glad to help.

What I talk about.

Everything I say on stage comes from the clinic: thousands of consultations, a governance framework that went through inspection, and services built from scratch. I'm as comfortable on a patient panel as at a clinical conference, and I'm comfortable with the difficult questions.

  • The nurse's role in medical cannabis

Why nurse-led care matters in cannabis clinics, and what it looks like when it's done well.

  • Governance that stands up to inspection

What regulators actually look for, the gaps that trip clinics up, and how to build a service that patients and inspectors both trust.

  • Patients, honestly

What people ask, worry about and often misunderstand, and how the sector could serve them better.

  • Neurology, women's health, LGBT and trans care, neurodivergence, palliative care

The patient groups I care most about, what good care looks like for each, and where services still let people down.

  • Deaf awareness in healthcare

I'm fluent in British Sign Language. Ask me about access, interpreters and what a Deaf patient's experience of a clinic can be like.
